UVJI (Ukrainian Volunteer Journalists Initiative) is a news service, established on 25th of February, 2022, on the second day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

We operate in two main directions:

  1. Daily news digest. A list of fact-checked and translated news from official and credible sources in Ukraine. Our digests cover 3 branches: Military, Civilians, and Humanitarian.

  2. Multifaceted journalistic support for anyone willing to write a story about Ukraine.

We are open to participation in TV and radio shows, podcasts, and any platform allowing us to share stories of Ukrainian eyewitnesses with the world.

We can:

  • find guests for your shows,

  • research & fact-check any particular information upon your request

  • connect you with Ukrainian officials and find heroes for your stories

If you are still looking for a story - we can send you our pitches and assist with your investigation.
