The celebration of Russian Navy Day canceled due to a UAV attack
The "governor" of occupied Sevastopol, appointed by Russia, reported that a drone attacked the headquarters of the Russian fleet, and the city canceled festive events for the Day of the Occupiers’ Navy.
This was reported b RIA Novosti, referring to the "governor" of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev
Razvozhaev's direct speech: "An unknown object flew into the yard of the fleet headquarters, according to preliminary data, it was a drone. 5 people were injured, they are employees of the fleet headquarters, there were no casualties.”
Ukrainian Navy refuted Russian claims, calling them imaginings.
“In fact, the enemy did not risk holding the day of the Russian Navy, but in order not to be ashamed in front of the whole world, fearing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, invented an excuse to cancel the events on the occasion of the so-called holiday.
With such statements, the enemy recognizes that its air defense is ineffective, and casts even greater doubt on the existence of the Crimean bridge.”

Maxar published satellite images of the Olenivka colony before and after the explosion
American company Maxar Technologies published satellite images of the Olenivka penal colony before and after the explosion. Benjamin Strick, an OSINT investigator with Center for Information Resilience, published these.
As can be seen in the photo, the explosion damaged only one building on the colony’s territory.
Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the Head of the President’s Office claimed these photos to be another proof that the events in Olenivka were not caused by a Ukrainian artillery strike, but by a Russian terrorist attack.
As reported previously, an explosion occurred on July 29, on the territory of the former penal colony No. 210, where Ukrainian POWs have been kept. As reported by Ukrainian General Prosecutor’s Office, 40 POWs were killed and 130 more - injured. General Staff of the AFU suggests that the main goal of this operation was to accuse Ukraine of committing "war crimes", as well as to hide the evidence of torture and executions of Ukrainian POWs.

Russian military will concentrate on Bakhmut, but will not manage to capture it
Russian military will focus on offensives at Bakhmut and around Donetsk, but will have no success. This is reported by the ISW.
ISW analysts suggest that the Russian command is seeking to exploit recent gains in the Novoluhanske area to pressure Bakhmut from the east (the author's style and grammar are preserved - ed.):
“Their efforts around Donetsk City likely aim to push Ukrainian forces out of artillery range of the city. They may also be intending to gain as much ground in Donetsk Oblast as possible before planned referenda in September.”
Experts report that Russians are unlikely to succeed (the author's style and grammar are preserved - ed.):
“Russian offensive operations are very unlikely to take Bakhmut, which is large and well-defended or to make dramatic gains west of Donetsk City even if they manage to take the towns of Avdiivka and Pisky that have held out against their pressure since the original Russian invasion in 2014.”

The AFU stopped enemy advances on several fronts in Luhansk region
In the East, the enemy is trying to advance deep into Ukrainian territory using assault and army aviation. At the same time, the AFU stopped several enemy attempts to move further.
This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhii Haidai.
According to him, the enemy is not giving up attempts to improve the tactical situation to advance towards Bakhmut and nearby settlements on the border of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Russian infantry are supported by assault and army aviation.
“Air strikes were recorded in the vicinity of seven towns and villages during July 30. By such actions, the occupiers are trying to create additional pressure on Ukrainian defense,” Haidai noted.
According to the official, Ukrainian positions were shelled along the entire frontline. There were 4 rocket strikes, 15 artillery attacks, 3 mortar strikes, 5 strikes from MLRs, and three tank attacks.
“Russians want to stiffen the defenses so that we don't have the opportunity to rotate or reinforce other directions,” Haidai believes.
He informed that on Saturday, July 30, Ukrainian fighters found and neutralized one of the Russian recon groups.
In the meantime, Russian aviation conducts systematic combat operations to support the ground units.
However, according to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the enemy offensive was repulsed on multiple directions at once.

Russians attempt to rebuild the Antonivka road bridge in Kherson region
Yuriy Sobolevskyi, the first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, reported this on Facebook.
"The orcs are trying to restore the Antonivka road bridge. They work without load calculations, without engineering plans — they simply cover the damaged areas with concrete slabs," Sobolevsky wrote.
According to Sobolevskyi, it is natural that the quality of the repair and the reliability of the bridge after it will be doubtful. In any case, the coordinates of the Antonivsky bridge will not change after these manipulations, he noted.

Ukrainian Navy is training in Britain to operate ships with anti-mine defenses
Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, major-general Volodymyr Havrylov, and the UK Minister of Armed Forces, James Heappey MP visited Ukrainian trainees during their training.
This is reported by the General Staff of the AFU, referring to the UK Minister of Defence.
The UK has offered to train up to 10,000 Ukrainian servicemen in combat skills to help support their defense against Russia.
Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine said: “I saw the brotherhood of Ukrainian and British soldiers working together to achieve a common goal - strengthening the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army. We are very grateful to the government and people of the United Kingdom for their invaluable contribution to Ukraine’s success in repelling the Russian aggressors.”
Sometime later, Volodymyr Havrylov and James Heappey visited a Royal Navy Sandown Class mine hunter at sea to witness first-hand the training being provided to Ukrainian sailors in a deal agreed last year under the Ukrainian Naval Capabilities Enhancement Programme (UNCEP).
The Royal Navy has been training full crews of Ukrainian sailors since May 2022, teaching them how to operate Sandown Class Mine Counter Measures Vessels (MCMVs).
The program is part of the UK’s enduring commitment to support Ukraine in its fight against Russia’s unprovoked invasion, which so far amounts to more than £2.3 billion in military aid and includes more than 5,000 NLAW anti-tank weapons and M270 MLRS.
