A petition with a call to ban citizens of the Russian Federation from conducting creative professional activities in Ukraine received 25,000 votes - it was published on the president's website, and now Volodymyr Zelenskyy must declare it.
The author of the petition, producer Olha Klymenko, registered it on August 15.
In it, she asked to ban citizens of the Russian Federation from any activity in the field of cinematography, television, radio broadcasting, theater and culture in general on the territory of Ukraine.
"Given Russia's crimes against the people, we do not see any possibility of any further cooperation in the cultural, film and theater sectors and, on the contrary, we see the need to increase Ukrainian content on television, in theaters, on the radio and in the field of cinema," the author notes.
"Long story short, no one wants our actors, directors, and other figures in Ukrainian cinematography to be replaced by orcs, as has been the case since independence. They confused the public saying that "that not everything is so obvious" or blatantly supported the terrorism of our country," Ukrainian actor Andriy Klymenkov writes.
The petition calls for banning the broadcast of any Russian content on Ukrainian TV channels, in particular, created with the participation of citizens of the Russian Federation or on the territory of the aggressor country.
It is also suggested to limit the distribution and sale of products of Russian culture on the territory of Ukraine: literary works, exhibitions, artistic works, etc.
The author of the petition proposes to develop legislative changes that allow to preserve Russian independence of Ukrainian cinema from influence, as well as to create mechanisms and procedures for this.

These drones film 4K video, which enables getting to know the occupiers’ location. Another drones - Matrice RTK 300 went to the “hot spots”. A Ukrainian volunteer project repairs Soviet times cars for the military
Ukraine has launched a new project to restore Soviet equipment for territorial defense units. The launch of the project became known from the official website of the project.
"First, we took the first 7 cars from the military warehouses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We brought them to our shop and in 22 days repaired a car of the 4th category, and in 10 days - a car of the 3rd category. And, in fact, under the auspices of the Commander-in-Chief, we will continue to repair these vehicles as much as we can," says Viktor Shevchenko, co-initiator of the project, officer of the Logistics Department of the Headquarters of the Logistics Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Viktor Shevchenko, the cost of repairing one truck is $2500-3000. These are Soviet URAL, GAZ ZIL, KamAZ and armored personnel carriers.
The Armed Forces have enough military vehicles of III-IV category in storage. If necessary, they can be repaired and sent into service. These vehicles have not been used for more than 15-20 years and the equipment can become scrap metal if left as is.
The goal pf the project is to save money. The founders of the project explain: the average cost of repairing one old truck from the stocks of the Armed Forces is $ 3000. And the price of one used military vehicle, for example, at an auction in the United States, is at least $15,000. The amount does not include the cost of delivery, repair (and it is also needed), replacement of filters, etc. Therefore, it is cheaper and faster to repair what is in stock.
"As a result, in 20 days we have 6 vehicles ready for frontline. The average cost of repairing one vehicle is $ 2500-3000. And only one in 7 vehicles turned out to be scrap metal. Its engine is dead, but there are two ways out: it can become a "donor" or serve the military after we replace the engine", says Viktor Shevchenko
According to Viktor, out of the first 4 trucks repaired and sent to the east one is already gone. On the one hand, special military vehicles live longer because they are produced to manage field conditions, but on the other hand, they are not protected against explosions and direct hits.
The authors of the project call on Ukrainian business and charitable organizations to join their initiative and together with them repair and return the vehicles to serve the Territorial Defenсe Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
