Fierce battles near Kharkiv. Some villages are completely cut off from civilization
In the Derhachi community, located near Kharkiv, the fierce battles, especially in some villages, continue.
This was reported by the head of the community Viacheslav Zadorenko.
“The hostilities on the territory of Derhachi community continue, especially fierce ones are in the Kozacha Lopan direction. The enemy keeps striking our settlements. As a result, three people died in Bezruky, and another person got shrapnel wounds in Derhachi,” stated Zadorenko.
He added that intensive strikes caused several fires in Derhachi on April 25. A third of the city remained without electricity because of damages to electric power lines. In the Starostynske region, there are problems with gas access.
The major of Derhachi noted that restoration of electricity in certain places and streets of the city will only be possible after battles stop and territory is demined.
Kozacha Lopan, Tokarivka, Ruska Lozova, Velyki Prokhody villages as well as Tsupivka are all still cut off from civilizations so we can only help local residents after the territory will be freed, noted Zadorenko.

Prisoners and relatives of oppositionists are sent from Chechnya to die in Ukraine
In Chechnya, by the order of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, prisoners, including relatives of opposition activists, are sent to war in Ukraine. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
The Chechen branch of the Federal Security Service (the FSB) collects information about prisoners in local prisons to send them to the combat zone. The FSB requires personal data of convicts: names, home addresses, telephone numbers, e-mails, and IP addresses.
"Immediately collect and provide us with information about the citizens of the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation for their further involvement in a special operation in Ukraine," cited the Defence Intelligence on its website.
The FSS collects data on prisoners on probation, arrested for minor and moderate offenses, grave and particularly grave crimes.
Chechen opposition activists say the FSB wants to replenish the human resources of units that have suffered significant losses in the fighting in Ukraine, as well as quell any protests in Chechnya, as many opposition relatives are in prison. In particular, the brother of the well-known Chechen opposition activist Khasan Khalitov has already been taken to one of the units on the front line. Khalitov's relatives were abducted, and their whereabouts are unknown.
